THE FINAL WALKTHROUGH.  As required under the contract, today we had the final walkthrough, a technicality to ensure that the sellers have left everything as promised.  As expected, everything was removed, but the owners did leave one thing behind: a five inch binder with "Welcome To Your New House", with receipts, manuals, and  contact information for all of the maintenance for the house and property.  In the front was a letter, giving a bit of the history of their family's time in the house, and offering their best wishes to the new owners.  The real estate agent said that she had never seen anything like this before, and it will certainly come in handly to know what we have.
